Number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mogale City at 13 960
The total number of active Covid-19 cases in the West Rand is at 857 according to the latest report by the Gauteng Provincial Government.
The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mogale City stood at 13 960 according to Gauteng Provincial Government’s latest breakdown. A total of 13 003 people have recovered so far.
Rand West City and Merafong City, which are also part of the West Rand District, have had 7 443 and 5 606 cases respectively. Rand West City and Merafong City have seen 7 009 and 5 271 recoveries respectively.
The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the West Rand District is 27 016 with 874 deaths and 25 285 recoveries. This brings the total number of active cases in the District to 857.
In the neighbouring City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality Region C, which comprises Roodepoort, the number of confirmed cases to date stands at 23 110 and 21 764 recoveries.
The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Gauteng was standing at 458 072 with 431 451 recoveries and 11 224 deaths. This translates to 15 397 active cases within the Province.
