Police confirmed they had found the body of a woman with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle on Bell Drive, Rangeview on Saturday morning.

The News was made aware of a shooting in which a woman was killed on Bell Drive, Rangeview early on Saturday morning June 12.

West Rand District Police spokesperson, Gloria Maswanganye confirmed a case of murder was being investigated.

The body of a 43-year-old woman was found inside her vehicle at about 08:00 on Saturday. She had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.”

The police are appealing to anyone with information to please contact the Crime Stop line on 08600 10111 or alternatively, relay information via the My SAPS app.
