Mentally ill man missing for almost two weeks
A 36-year-old man vanished in the early hours of June 10 and had been missing for almost two weeks.
Mashile Solly Maponya, a 36-year-old Krugersdorp man who is mentally ill has gone missing.
Maponya disappeared almost two weeks ago and police are still looking for him.
Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Captain Raymond Sebonyane said detectives are investigating a missing persons case after Maponya was last seen at about 05:00 on Thursday, June 10.
He explained that a woman who lived with Maponya in Burger Street, Krugersdorp told police that she had heard footsteps on the morning of his disappearance and thought he was just going to the bathroom, but he never came back.
“The missing person is of average build and black in complexion. No description was given of the clothes he was wearing.”
The Krugersdorp Police are appealing to the public to assist with any information that could lead to tracing Maponya.
