MCLM revenue services closed again due to Covid-19

The Mogale City Local Municipality Revenue Office will be closed temporarily – again due to Covid-19 cases.

The Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) has announced that its revenue services are closed temporarily due to confirmed Covid-19 cases.

MCLM said in a statement they regret to inform members of the public that the Revenue and Credit Control divisions will be closed for two days namely July 1 and July 2. This follows several reports of positive Covid-19 cases among staff in the division.

“Our rates hall, offices and public walk-in areas will be decontaminated for the safety of our employees and members of the public during closure,” read the statement.

Operations are expected to resume on Monday, July 5, and end-of-the-month clients are encouraged to pay their municipal accounts or buy prepaid water and electricity at Pick n Pay, Woolworths, Checkers, Shoprite, USave, Spar, House & Home, The Post Office and President Hyper.

“Payments can also be made to the municipality through a direct deposit at Standard Bank or through an Electronic Funds Transfer (Mogale City Local Municipality, which is a listed public beneficiary with all major banks).”

For any account payment queries contact customerservices@mogalecity.gov.za, the WhatsApp number on 083 787 2814 or phone the call centre on 0861 664 253.
