Mogale City now has 23 606 confirmed cases
The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the West Rand District as at July 3 is 43 556, with 1 179 deaths and 36 461 recoveries. There are 909 new cases.
As at July 3, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mogale City stood at 23 606, according to Gauteng Provincial Government’s latest breakdown.
A total of 19 530 people have recovered so far.
Rand West City and Merafong City, which are also part of the West Rand District, have had 12 102 and 7 841 cases respectively. There are seven unallocated cases in this District as well. Rand West City and Merafong City have seen 10 311 and 6 618 recoveries respectively. The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the West Rand District as at July 3 is 43 556, with 1 179 deaths and 36 461 recoveries. There are 909 new cases.
There are 1 179 new cases. In the neighbouring City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality Region C, which comprises Roodepoort, the number of confirmed cases to date stands at 39 817, with 32 392 recoveries.
The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Gauteng was standing at 692 626, with 581 118 recoveries and 13 316 deaths.
A total number of 7 852 people are currently hospitalised in public (2 518) and private (5 334) facilities in the province.
