Total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Mogale City at 24 793

The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the West Rand District is 45 496 with 1 280 deaths and 38 992 recoveries.

The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mogale City stood at 24 793 according to Gauteng Provincial Government’s latest breakdown (July 7).

A total of 20 993 people have recovered so far.

Rand West City and Merafong City, which are also part of the West Rand District, have had 12 531 and 8 165 cases respectively. Rand West City and Merafong City have seen 11 004 and 6 993 recoveries respectively.

The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the West Rand District is 45 496 with 1 280 deaths and 38 992 recoveries.

The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Gauteng was standing at 729 396 with 620 704 recoveries and 13 948 deaths.

A total number of 8 551 people are currently hospitalised in the public (2 925) and private (5 626) facilities.
