While the Magaliesburg Police were intensifying visibility in their area they recovered a stolen vehicle.
Sergeant Kgomotso Mogwere from the Magaliesburg Police explained that around 04:00 this morning, July 27 the members recovered a stolen Toyota Hilux at Rietpoort in Magaliesburg.
The vehicle had been stolen during a house robbery in Seekoehoek at about 02:00 this morning, July 27.

Mogwere explained that three intruders allegedly gained entry through a back window of the house. They pointed a firearm at a man and then assaulted him before they took the car keys and made off with the bakkie and R3 500 in cash.
“The police were mobilised immediately.”
Two hours later the vehicle was found abandoned on a gravel road in Rietpoort. The police also found other stolen property like a plasma TV, two bicycles, a microwave, fridge and groceries in the bakkie.
“The suspects are at large and the investigation continues,” Mogwere said.
The Magaliesburg Police station commander, Lieutenant Colonel Vuma applauded the members for their visibility in the area which made it difficult for criminals to get away with the vehicle.
