If you have tested positive for Covid-19, what should you do at home? Ten tips that might come in handy

Some tips you can follow if someone in your home has tested positive for Covid-19.

1. Try to reserve one area in your home as a sick area. If you cannot, try to keep to one area of your home, at least two metres away from other people.
2. Wear a disposable mask.
3. Limit your contact with any pets or animals.
4. Cover your mouth or nose with a disposable tissue when you sneeze or cough.
5. Dispose of tissues in the waste bin in your sick area, and wash your hands immediately afterwards.
6. Wash your hands regularly.
7. Clean your sick room daily.
8. Do not share eating utensils, towels or bedding.
9. Wash your hands after any contact with the patient.
10. Wash linen, bedding and clothes separately at a high temperature.
