EPR Security released their latest crime report showing 24 incidents being reported between July 26 and August 1.
Among these incidents were five break-ins and seven thefts. In the previous week six thefts and three break-ins or attempted break-ins were reported.
This week’s report also includes a fatal robbery at a school in Mindalore, and robberies in Luipaardsvlei and Krugersdorp West respectively.
EPR Security’s General Manager, Johan Krogh said contact crime does not seem to be decreasing in the area.
“Residents and business owners must remain vigilant at all times. Please ensure that security gates are properly locked and kept locked at all times,” Krogh warned residents.
