Two drug-related arrests thanks to police-public effort

Two suspects were cornered and arrested for possession and dealing in drugs in Kagiso thanks to a joint effort by the police and the public.

Kagiso Police spokesperson, Captain Solomon Sibiya said they continue to put pressure on those engaged in lawlessness in their precinct.

This pressure is making it hard for drug peddlers to conduct their business, as was proven when two suspects from different areas were cornered and arrested for possession and dealing in drugs on Tuesday, August 3.

Kagiso Police station commander, Brigadier Themba Maduna said arrests like these were due to the good working relationship between the police and the community.

“The ongoing interaction between the police and our communities is continuing to yield positive results each day, and this is far from the end.”
