Mogale City vaccination and testing sites
Two vaccination sites in Mogale City will now be open on Saturdays too. Get all the information here.
The West Rand District Health Department will continue with its pop-up stations in Mogale City this week.
Members of the public are invited to visit these sites for Covid-19, HIV and TB testing, among others.
In the first week of August 4 760 people were screened for Covid-19, and 313 tests were done.
Among the 2 532 people tested for HIV, four tested positive and were referred to a clinic for treatment.
All 4 568 people screened for TB were asymptomatic.
Hypertension screening was done for 4 162 people, and eight abnormalities were detected. These people were referred for further treatment.
On Thursday, August 12, the team will be in Sinqobile (Ward 15 and 19).
On Friday, August 13, the team will be in Mindalore (Ward 9 and 16).
Two vaccination sites in Mogale City will now also be open on Saturdays. They are the Munsieville and the Kagiso Care of the Aged centres which will be open from 08:00 to 13:00.
From August 10 to 13 residents can also get their vaccinations at the Burgershoop Community Centre and at the Kromdraai Clinic from 08:30 to 15:00.
Other vaccination sites include Leratong Hospital, Dr Yusuf Dadoo Hospital and the Krugersdorp Centenary Hall, which will be open between 08:30 and 15:00 on weekdays.
