Gruesome taxi collision leaves six dead, five injured including child
Six burnt victims were declared dead on the scene of an accident on Saturday night with five others taken to hospital.

Six people were killed and five others, including a child, sustained severe injuries when a taxi collided with a tree and caught fire on Saturday night, September 4.
ER24 Corporate Communications Manager Werner Vermaak explained.
“At approximately 19:30 on Saturday, paramedics from ER24 and the Gauteng Provincial Government attended the scene along Tom Muller Street in Krugersdorp.”
The West Rand Municipality Fire Department extinguished the flames on the burning taxi, and paramedics found five people, including a young child, with serious injuries. Six burnt victims were declared dead on the scene of an accident on Saturday night with five others taken to hospital.
They were assessed and treated on the scene before being rushed to nearby hospitals. An emergency medical helicopter was called to the scene to airlift the child to the hospital.
There was nothing paramedics could do for the six burnt victims. They were all declared dead on the scene. Local authorities attended the scene and will investigate the exact circumstances surrounding the incident,” Vermaak said.
