Young mother killed in hit-and-run: Family wants answers
The family of Ashley Frylinck is looking for answers after the young mother of two was killed in an alleged hit-and-run incident over the weekend.
A local family has been left devastated and without any answers after a young woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident over the weekend.
Kirsty Frylinck explained to the News what they knew about the incident in which her 29-year-old sister Ashley Frylinck was killed.
As far as the family could establish the mother of two boys was walking home at about 21:00 on Friday, September 3 when the incident occurred on Commissioner Street in Krugersdorp.
They believe that two vehicles were involved.
“The vehicle that caused her death left the accident scene,” Kirsty explained.
She added that the police were on scene and at 00:45 on Saturday morning September 4 they informed the family about Ashley’s passing.

“We just want justice to be served – her candle has been extinguished so unfairly.”
The family is asking that anyone with any information about what happened on Friday night, please come forward. They can contact Kirsty on 078 497 5564 or go to the Krugersdorp Police Station where a case had been opened.
Kirsty said the family was devastated about what happened and they want the person responsible to know that the law will take its course.
