Weird and whacky purple fun at adhesives giant

The Pratley team in Factoria had some fun during their Casual Day celebrations, dressing up in all kinds of strange outfits.

Factoria — Krugersdorp has, very literally, grown up alongside the internationally recognised Pratley Manufacturing and Engineering company ever since it was founded in Factoria in 1948 by the family-run business’ then patriarch George ‘Monty’ Pratley.

Since then their products have been used in many industries all across the world, some even going to space. In all that time, it’s held on to its familial roots, injecting that sense of a close-knit family into the workplace among all of their staff.

To celebrate their closeness, Pratley asked their staff to take a bit of a break, step out of their workspaces, have fun and celebrate Casual Day together.

Their theme this year was ‘Powerful purple’ and ‘What outfit makes you feel brave enough to take on the world?’ with staff dressing up in all kinds of colourful, weird and wacky purple attire.

One group, especially, took the extra step and created their own purple Evil Minion masks with flamboyant purple hair.
