The sister of Ashley Frylinck, the young mother who was brutally killed in a hit-and-run incident recently, reached out to the News and said the family was seeking answers about what had happened.
According to Kirsty Frylinck, Ashley was walking home at about 21:00 on Friday, September 3 when she was killed.

The Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Captain Raymond Sebonyane responded to the News’ request for comment, saying they were investigating a case of culpable homicide after a man was injured and a woman killed.
Krugersdorp Police were summoned to the scene and found a female lying on the road, and later saw an injured male under a vehicle.”
He added that the vehicle that had hit the man and woman was not at the scene. Emergency services were called, and the woman was certified dead on scene. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
“A case of culpable homicide was opened and is being investigated by the Krugersdorp Detectives. The investigation continues.”
