Selling goodies to buy a stove

The Thoughtful Path dreams of buying a stove so they can bake bread and prepare other goodies for the community. You can help them by supporting their charity shop.

The Thoughtful Path in Munsieville wants to buy a stove to help the community, and they have a creative way of getting the money together.

On September 30 at 10:30 they will be launching a charity shop at the Children Embassy at 1413 Bashee Street in Munsieville where they will sell all kinds of goodies. The shop will be open every Thursday, and the funds generated through the sales will go towards buying a stove for the organisation.

They need the stove to bake bread and prepare other essentials for the community. Like many others the organisation has been affected by Covid-19 and many of their projects have been disrupted.

The Thoughtful Path is an organisation that focuses on orphans and vulnerable children. They believe in engaging families in different projects to empower them to better their lives.

They believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and said the community’s contributions would go a long way towards empowering those in the utmost need. If you have clothes, blankets, books, stationery sets or more, the organisation would really appreciate your donation.

The community is also invited to attend the launch of the charity shop. For more information, phone Betty Nkoana on 062 438 1503 or send an email to bettynkn@gmail.com.
