The Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) has recently announced that scheduled maintenance work on the Munsieville reservoir will be conducted from Monday, October 4 to Monday, October 11.
“The maintenance work involves water pump upgrades at the reservoir. This work is done to resolve the reduced water supply that is currently experienced in Munsieville. Water Services does not anticipate for water supply to the Munsieville area to be disrupted for the duration of the project as water will be supplied through a bypass instead of pumping water. However, should the supply of water be interrupted for any reason, water tankers will be made available,” according to a communiqué from the MCLM.
