Very first Mogale Music Awards to be held on Nov 6

Soon, aspiring artists in Mogale City will get the recognition they deserve with the very first Mogale Music Awards. You can be part of the celebration.
These awards will recognise up and coming artists from around the country.
After many obstacles in life, Thami Papa, a Kagiso-born musician realised his dream of hosting music awards.
Thami explained that the word ‘Mogale’ can be translated to ‘hero’, and with these awards they want to make artists aware of the hero inside each of them.
There are 21 nominees in four categories, and the hosts of the awards will be Miss Teen SA top 5 finalist and Miss GAMA 2020/2021, Mosa Simphiwe Intombi Yakwa Phapha; radio DJ and resident MC, Kelebogile Mogotsi also known as Mogotsi RSA; well-known artists Thabiso Montshiwagae also known as Kubu Mminogories; and DJ Katlego Memane also known as DJ Katz.
The event will be at The Diner in Monument on November 6, and there will be a red carpet from 16:00 with the ceremony starting at 17:00. Tickets will be pre-sold for R200 and space is limited.
