Horror crash in Chamdor: Toddler and baby among five killed
Gauteng Traffic Police said two children were among the five people who were killed in a crash near Leratong Hospital on Thursday night.
The Gauteng Traffic Police (GTP) reported on Twitter that a horrific accident claimed the lives of five people including two children on Thursday, October 28.
The accident happened near Leratong Hospital on the R41 between the R558 and Geba Street, and they advised motorists to avoid the area. Response services were also busy on the scene.
According to GTP’s initial report four people were killed, including a child, and the driver was in a critical condition.
On Friday morning, October 29, they sent out an update which stated that five people died in the accident, among them a one-year-old and a baby.
