A planned power outage is scheduled for many parts of Mogale City on Saturday, November 13.
In a statement Mogale City Local Municipality’s Energy Services division informed residents, businesses and other stakeholders of a planned Eskom power outage.
The outage will last from 08:00 on Saturday morning to 16:00 the afternoon.
The reason for the supply interruption is that maintenance work will be done on switchgear 33kV Panel 3 and 4. The eastern parts of the city will be affected mostly, as well as the following areas:
• Chamdor
• Mindalore
• Lewisham
• Wentworth Park
• Factoria
• Silverfields
• Noordheuwel
• Kenmare
Businesses and residents are therefore advised to make the necessary arrangements during the outage.
“We thank you in advance for your cooperation, and apologise for any inconvenience that this power supply interruption will cause,” read the statement.
