Man knocked down by vehicle, then struck by three other cars

A pedestrian died after being struck by four vehicles in Krugersdorp North last week.

Krugersdorp Police are reaching out to the community for help to find the next of kin of a road accident victim.

Krugersdorp Police spokesperson Captain Raymond Sebonyane said that on Friday, March 25 at about 20:11, “Police were summoned to an accident scene at the corner of Otto and 4de Street in Krugersdorp North where an unknown male had been bumped by a motor vehicle.

While the driver was waiting for police and emergency services, three more vehicles drove over the victim. The man was declared dead by emergency services on the scene and a culpable homicide case was opened. The deceased was taken to the Roodepoort Government Mortuary.”

Police requested that anyone with information about the incident or the victim contact Krugersdorp Police on 011 951 1151, or detective Warrant Officer Mckie on 083 284 2209 or 011 951 1100.
