Woman, 63, missing for weeks

The police are looking for Maureen Mavuso who was last seen leaving her residence and running towards Witpoortjie.

Police are looking for 63-year-old Maureen Mavuso who has disappeared.

Kagiso Police spokesperson Captain Solomon Sibiya said in a statement Mavuso went missing from Dastile Street, Kagiso 1 (Lewisham).

She was last seen by her sister at about 11:15 on Thursday March 24 leaving her residence and running towards Witpoortjie.”

At the time Mavuso was wearing a floral skirt, green striped polo neck, black hat, red socks and grey cushion shoes.

The police are asking that anyone who might have seen her please contact the investigating officer, detective Sergeant Muthala on 068 063 2539. Alternatively the Kagiso Police Station can be contacted on 011 696 9059, 011 696 9065 or 011 696 9067.
