From now on residents of Mogale City will have the services of a brand-new red and black fire truck responding to calls.
On Friday, May 27, Station 38 of the West Rand Emergency Services in Mogale City received the keys to their new fire engine.
The Department of Corporative Governance and Traditional Affairs funded the West Rand District Municipality to acquire the new fire truck.
Gerhard Nieuwoudt, Mogale City’s Emergency Services regional station commander explained that this is a medium pumper and will greatly benefit the West Rand District, and in particular the Mogale City area.
