Krugersdorp High School (KHS) hosted their annual Art Exhibition over four days from May 18 to 21.
According to KHS marketing director Lauren Jooste-Coetsee, the exhibition aims to provide learners from grades 8 to 12 with an opportunity to exhibit their phenomenal work to the school and greater community.
The guest speaker at the Gala Event was Catherine Gibbons who used to be the Gauteng Provincial Coordinator for the Arts and now works for Umalusi.
Miss Janine Göpper, head of the Art Department and her team of educators have a very specific vision to ensure that her learners and staff are provided with the best opportunities to further develop their skills.
“The KHS Art Department is synonymous with their excellence and it is no wonder that they are identified as being one of the top schools in the province.”
