A quiet week for Mapogo

Housebreaking remains a problem.

This past week Mapogo A Mathamaga Security reported three incidents they attended in the Krugersdorp area according to a report the company provided to the News.

 Monday, 20 June at 04:24 – Theft on Howel Street, Noordheuwel: A perpetrator gained entry onto the premises by climbing over the front gate. He ripped the security beam sensor from the wall before fleeing the scene.
• Sunday, 26 June at 02:50 – Housebreaking and theft, and arrest on Poole Street, Dan Pienaarville: A perpetrator climbed over the wall to gain entry, and stole a sound system from the house. The owner raised the alarm and when the response units arrived he was arrested and the stolen item was recovered. The suspect was handed over to the police for further investigation.
• Sunday, 26 June 2022 at 06:15 – Damage to property on Main Reef Road, Krugersdorp: A driver lost control of his vehicle and drove through the perimeter wall of a property, causing damage to his vehicle and the wall.
