An opportunity for local traders

Many traders find themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place since they are not given as many opportunities to do what they truly are passionate about.

The Mogale City Local Municipality Economic Development Services invites informal traders to express their interest to trade at the new Krugersdorp Taxi Rank facility. This is certainly a once in a lifetime opportunity for Mogale City traders, so if you are a local trader this is definitely something you should explore.

To be considered as a local trader, applicants must –

• Be Mogale City residents (proof of address is required)
• Be a South African citizen (copy of ID is required)
• Meet all requirements to trade (such permit, licence) as stipulated in the Business Act 71 of 1991
• Operate a legitimate and legal business as specified in the Business Act 71 of 1991
• Operate the business on a full-time basis
• Agree to pay the required monthly stall rental fee
• Agree to sign a legally binding contract with the municipality
• Comply with municipal by-laws

Application forms are available at the Enterprise Development Offices, Ellerines Building, Corner Monument and Human Streets, 3rd floor, Krugersdorp CBD.

Those who have already applied are requested not to reapply, but to submit the above-mentioned documents for consideration as applicants. For more information contact 011 668 0609, email customerservices@mogalecity.gov.za.
