Quality and respect at Shane’s Pub & Grill
The bar opened four years ago and is one of the friendliest in Krugersdorp. They are also known for their brandy specials, live entertainment, gaming as well non-gaming promotions. There is always something going on at Shane's!
Shane’s Pub & Grill is like no other; it’s a place where everyone is welcome to enjoy its relaxing atmosphere.
Owner Shane Collinson said the pub opened its doors a mere four years ago and they are still going strong.
We are probably the smallest bar in the whole of Krugersdorp but we’ve got the biggest heart. It is probably the friendliest and most respectful bar I’ve been to in my life.”
Standing at a mere 58 square metres wide it’s not about the size for Shane, although it is his biggest challenge. He also sees it as the biggest opportunity because everyone knows everyone’s name.
“There is always something happening. We have the best brandy specials in Krugersdorp, a small menu but very good food, live entertainment weekly, and I’m very aggressive on gaming promotions – I’m always upselling the gaming and non-gaming. There is always a promotion in gaming and a promotion in non-gaming.”
These are the current brandy specials:
• Two doubles and a 300ml Coke for R75
• Four doubles and 1 litre Coke for R140
• Six doubles and 1 litre Coke for R195
• Eight doubles and 1 litre Coke for R240
There is also a happy hour special that runs from Monday to Thursday from 18:00 until 20:00.
These are the happy hour specials:
• Two double Bols Brandies and a 300ml can for R55
• Two double VAT69 whisky and a 50ml mineral water for R55
• Two double Spice Gold rum and a 300ml can for R55
• A double Belgravia gin with a 200ml can for R55
• Two double Count Pushkin flavoured vodka and a 300ml can for R55
• Six sours shots for R60
• Six cookies and cream shots for R60
• Six strawberry lips shots for R60
• Six Springbokkie shots for R60
You will always get high levels of respect at this bar. I’ve never been to a bar where people walk in and greet everyone, and when they leave they say goodbye to everyone. We make everyone feel welcome.”
