They added that increased moisture due to a ridging surface will result in showers and thundershowers in Gauteng from Sunday, January 29 to Monday, January 30. They said that models are uncertain about the rainfall amounts, but high-resolution models indicate the potential for heavy showers (20-40mm 3-hourly rainfall) especially from early morning until late morning.
