Pharmacy’s R12 500 donation to help women and children of The Cradle

ADVERTORIAL: Krugersdorp Lifestyle Pharmacy partners with The Cradle of Hope to bring festive cheer to children and women in need.

Krugersdorp Lifestyle Pharmacy recently reached out to The Cradle of Hope to help ensure that children and less fortunate women could enjoy the festive season.

The pharmacy, located at Heritage Square, actively supports community initiatives whenever possible.

According to owner Hannelie Hartman, the pharmacy has six locations across three provinces and has participated in many local drives, from church bazaars and school prize sponsorships to stationery donations, school shoe drives and collecting goods for those in need.

As health service providers, it takes a community effort to encourage, support and build a better society,” Hannelie said.

The pharmacy partnered with Adcock Ingram to donate R12 500 to The Cradle and plans to reach out to more organisations in the new year.

They are also hosting a donation day in Magaliesburg in January, and would like to get involved with local schools, old age homes, and other community initiatives.

According to The Cradle’s public relations and marketing facilitator, Janine Masters, the organisation is grateful for the gesture, as they assist victims of abuse, primarily women and children. The donation will go a long way in supporting them during the festive season.
