Young woman’s body found half-naked

According to the deceased's next of kin, she was last seen going to a local tavern with a guy known to them.

The Kagiso police are investigating a murder after the body of a 21-year-old woman was found in an open space in Tshepisong over the weekend.

Captain Solomon Sibiya from the Kagiso Police Station said they received a call about the discovery of the half-naked body at about 04:50. When they arrived at Phase 7 in Tshepisong they found the deceased without pants and wearing only one takkie.

The police have opened a murder docket and are asking the community to please come forward with any information that can lead to the arrest of the perpetrator or perpetrators.
