Father charged with sexually assaulting son’s girlfriend
A man in his early 50s sexually assaulted his son's girlfriend while she was sleeping.
A 53-year-old man has been arrested after he sexually assaulted his son’s girlfriend while she was asleep in their house.
Kagiso Police spokesperson Captain Solomon Sibiya confirmed the man has since been charged with rape.

The victim told police that she and her boyfriend went to his house at about 02:00 on Saturday, March 18 after they were at a local pub. She was not feeling well and had decided to sleep in her boyfriend’s bed while he went back to the pub.
After she fell asleep, she was woken up by someone fondling and kissing her.

As she turned around, she realised that it was his boyfriend’s father. The victim then jumped out of the bed and called her boyfriend who swiftly arrived.”
An argument ensued between the man and his son and the victim and her boyfriend decided to report the matter to the Kagiso Police.
The man was eventually arrested at his home the following day on Sunday, March 19.
