Theft still a thorn in Mogale’s side

Mapogo A Mathamaga Security in Krugersdorp responded to two incidents of theft this past week according to their latest crime report.

Mapogo A Mathamaga Security responded to four serious incidents in five days recently. Two of them involved some kind of theft.

According to their latest crime report, at 15:39 on May 23, they responded to an attempted vehicle theft in Emdon Street in Kenmare. The suspect attempted to steal a Toyota Fortuner. One of their security officers on duty noticed the suspect and confronted him. When he was confronted, he fled with others in a white Volkswagen Polo.

In Chisel Street, Boltonia on May 24 at 14:30 a suspect entered a business through the front door and went on to steal a notebook. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown red vehicle.

Then two days later, on May 26 at 11:05, there was an attempted burglary in Venter Street, Dan Pienaarville. The suspect cut the electric fence and climbed over the wall but fled when the alarm sounded.

A suspect broke a window to enter a building in Church Street on May 28 at 07:36. When the alarm sounded, he fled the scene.
