Battery thieves reign supreme in town this week
It seems as if car batteries were very popular recently during three incidents of theft in Krugersdorp.
It appears that Krugersdorp’s criminal element is now looking for batteries.

In a crime report from Mapogo A Mathamaga Security, they indicated that they responded to three incidents of trespassing and theft in the Krugersdorp area.
On June 4 at 21:22 they responded to a trespassing and theft incident at Vlakplaas in Tarlton. The thieves stole one truck battery and a tractor battery.
Then three days later at 12:29, there was a theft in Human Street where thieves had jumped over the perimeter wall and broke and stole copper pipes, one computer screen and an alarm battery.

The last incident happened on June 12 in Barrat Road, Factoria. The perps also jumped over the perimeter fence and stole eight car batteries before fleeing the scene.
