The decomposed body of an unidentified man was discovered in a veld near the intersection. The cause of death remains under police investigation.
The body of a man was found in a veld near the Pinehaven intersection in Muldersdrift on July 23.
Director of Guardmax Protection Services, Jan Venter, who was on the scene, confirmed the body is that of a man; however, his age is unknown.
“The body was found near a building supply store, and I suspect he had been dead for about three days. Due to the level of decomposition, it was also difficult to determine his age.”
The exact circumstances of his death are undetermined and subject to a police investigation. The Krugersdorp News reached out to police for comment, who were on the scene, but no feedback was given at the time of publication.
Yet, Venter believes this was not a murder, as there were no visible signs of trauma.
