Alleged police brutality sparks protest in Kagiso

Protesters are blocking Tudor Street in Kagiso over alleged police brutality.

A protest is currently under way in Soul City, Kagiso, where dozens of demonstrators gathered on Tudor Street at about 13:30 today, October 10.

Protester Lefa Kwinana told the Krugersdorp News that the demonstration is in response to an alleged incident of police brutality that occurred earlier this morning.

Police are on the scene, and the road remains blocked. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
