Serious incident on R28 service road forces road closure in Muldersdrift

Police have cordoned off a section of the R28 service road in Muldersdrift as an active crime scene is being investigated.

Residents and motorists are urged to avoid Falls Road, the service road running parallel to the R28 towards Krugersdorp, as a serious incident is currently unfolding.

A heavy police presence has been on scene since about 10:30 today, December 2, supported by paramedics and private security. The area has been cordoned off with police tape, and access remains restricted.

Details about the incident are still unclear at this stage.
