Heavy police presence after CIT robbery in Kagiso

Cash-in-transit van torched in Kagiso as police investigate.

A dramatic cash-in-transit (CIT) heist unfolded today, December 5, in Kagiso, where a cash van was torched, and police rushed to secure the scene.

The incident took place at the corner of Themba Drive and Masedi Street. At 11:27, the Krugersdorp News was on the scene, where roads had been cordoned off, and a heavy police presence remained. Forensic teams were already combing the area for evidence.
