Two arrested after allegedly racially insulting police
The West Rand Flying Squad has highlighted recent arrests as crime prevention efforts continue.
The West Rand Flying Squad (WRFS) continues to make arrests across the region, with suspects detained in separate incidents ranging from assault and crimen injuria to drunk driving.

WRFS spokesperson Karen du Plessis said officers arrested a suspect for common assault in Fochville at about 13:00 on May 29.
On June 6, officers arrested two suspects for crimen injuria in Randfontein.
At around 14:45, our members were searching a suspicious vehicle in Greenhills, where a second vehicle pulled over for no reason, and insulted them by calling them, which led to the arrest of two suspects,” she explained.
Du Plessis added that officers also arrested a suspect for driving under the influence in Kagiso during the late hours of June 7 after the person was involved in a crash.
