Electricity to western parts of Krugersdorp restored

Mogale City Energy Services would like to confirm to residents that electricity has been restored to various parts of Krugersdorp West.

On January 18, the municipality announced that electricity supply would be negatively affected due to cable theft and vandalism at the Batavia Substation.

Since then the municipality has been able to restore electricity to Oatlands, Wildtuin Park, Heritage Manor and Agavia.

MCLM also added in a statement that they appeal to residents to report the municipality on cable theft, vandalism and damage to municipal property.
