Several areas without water due to burst pipe in Featherbrooke

No water to fill your kettle this morning as Mogale City Services regrets to inform residents of a burst water pipe in Featherbrooke.

Mogale City Water Services confirmed a burst pipe along Falls Road in Featherbrooke on Tuesday, February 6 which will affect residents.

As a result, the water supply for Featherbrooke, Ruimsig Country Estate and surrounding areas is temporarily suspended to make way for repair work.

Mogale City confirmed in a statement that there is no estimated time to recover the water and ward councillors in that area have been advised to contact water services for water tankers where required.

Mogale City wishes to apologise to residents for the inconvenience that this water supply interruption has caused to residential areas and businesses.
