After many health related incidents with spaza shops recently, Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) emphasised there is now a deadline for re-registration of spaza shops and vendors.
MCLM communications officer Refilwe Mahlangu said the re-registration deadline is December 13.
“It is a criminal offense to assist an illegal foreigner in obtaining a license or allowing them to conduct any business. Be aware! Breaking the law could have serious consequences,” she warned.
