Join Mogale City’s active Smart Meter rollout

The Smart Meter Replacement Project has rolled out in Mogale City, and qualified contractors are invited to join the initiative.

The Smart Meter Replacement Project is actively underway in selected wards of Mogale City.

As part of this rollout, Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) is looking for qualified contractors to join the project in the following specialised areas of expertise:

• Installation
• Auditing
• Electrical meter auditing

According to MCLM communications officer Refilwe Mahlangu, the project duration will last four weeks, which includes the installation of smart prepaid electricity meters across identified areas within Mogale City.

“Interested subcontractors must submit all required documentation as outlined in the application process on August 27 at the Mogale City Energy Department at Commissioner and Market Street, Krugersdorp,” concluded Mahlangu.
