Indigent status checks underway from September 16

The municipality’s Indigent Management Office will visit homes in Rietvallei Extension 2 from 16 to 19 September to verify indigent status.

Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) is rolling out a physical verification by their Indigent Management Office in Rietvallei, Extension 2.

MCLM communication officer, Refilwe Mahlangu, said this will take place from 16 to 19 September, between 08:00 and 14:00.

“Residents can expect the verification officers to visit their properties throughout this period. The purpose of this exercise is to confirm that all reported indigent properties are accurately verified and in line with our processes,” Mahlangu said.
