Roadworks begin on Beyers Naude in Muldersdrift, motorists to expect delays

Upgrades to Beyers Naudé Drive have begun, with the road set to become a dual carriageway. Motorists are urged to drive cautiously and anticipate delays during construction.

Beyers Naudé Drive in Muldersdrift is being upgraded, and Councillor Shenan Cochrane informs motorists to proceed with caution as road works commence.

She said this started on October 9, and motorists can expect to see the heavy machinery between the section of the R114 and Peter Road.

“Very soon we’ll be able to enjoy this section of Beyers Naudé as a dual carriageway and make for safer driving conditions.

“Please drive with caution during this upgrade phase, expect delays and abide by traffic controls,” she concluded.
