Traffic on Beyers Naudé in Muldersdrift affected for G20 practice run

Motorists should expect delays on Beyers Naudé Drive and intermittent N14 closures today due to a G20 practice run until 14:00.

Councillor Shenan Cochrane has informed the community that traffic along Beyers Naudé Drive will be affected today, October 24, for the G20 Summit, set to take place on November 22 to 23, dry run.

“Beyers will be reduced to one lane and completely closed while the convoy passes, reopening to one lane again. This will continue until 14:00,” she told the Krugersdorp News.

She added that the N14 at the Randburg/ Zwartkop off-ramp will be closed as practice convoys pass and will reopen immediately afterwards.

“Please drive with caution and patience as officials work,” she concluded.
