Power outage affects several streets in Monument

Several streets in Monument are without electricity as a substation is suspected as the source of the outage.

Multiple reports are being received about a power outage affecting parts of Monument this morning, January 12.

Councillor Amy Steyn spoke to the Krugersdorp News, explaining that the fault is suspected to originate at the Neethling substation. The following streets are affected:

• Paul Kruger
• Nicolas Smit
• Neethling
• Piet Joubert
• Sarel Potgieter
• Cilliers

She confirms that the outage has been reported and is receiving attention.
