A pipe burst at a water park on January 26, has caused a water outage in Breaunanda, Kenmare, Silverfields, and parts of Mindalore.

Refilwe Mahlangu, assistant manager for media and PR at Mogale City Local Municipality, said the incident forced the immediate isolation of the water supply to the affected areas.

“The team is currently assessing the extent of the damage and determining the materials needed for repairs. At this stage, we cannot provide an estimated time for completion,” she added.
