Planned water outage in Kagiso: What residents need to know

A planned water shutdown will affect the entire Kagiso area, with residents urged to prepare in advance.

Residents of Kagiso are encouraged to store enough water for household use as a planned water outage will take place tomorrow, March 20.

In a statement released by the Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM), the planned water outage is scheduled to start at about 06:00 and will affect the whole area.

Residents are also encouraged not to waste water before and after the maintenance to support the recovery of the water supply system.

“Water will gradually be restored when the system has stabilised and when there is enough water in the reservoirs. We will provide water tankers at designated locations across the area in coordination with local ward councillors,” the statement read.
