The campaign takes place for Wards 30 and 26 at Nelson Mandela Hall at 8 Cecelia Street in Tarlton on September 25, from 09:00 to 12:00.

According to municipal media and PR assistant manager Refilwe Mahlangu, the event aims to inform residents about benefits available to qualifying indigent households.

Mahlangu said applicants must provide mandatory documents, including certified copies of their ID, proof of income, their latest three months’ bank statements, and current municipal statements.

She added that supporting documents, such as a letter of authority or executorship, marriage certificate, divorce decree, or death certificate, are required for applicants who are not property owners.
