According to Krugersdorp Police Spokesperson Captain Raymond Sebonyane, about 753 Grade 4 to 7 learners were reached.

“Numerous social ills were addressed and school safety pamphlets distributed to the learners. We also wished the learners all the best for their upcoming examinations. During the search, no dangerous weapons or illegal substance were found,” said Captain Sebonyane.

“We also appealed to the learners to report any form of child abuse immediately to the police by contacting Crime Stop Number on 08600 10111 or information may be communicated via MySAPS App or SMS number 32211 and remain anonymous.”

Lewisham Primary school principal Connie Tshabalala thanked the team for effort they took to engage with the learners.
